President Trump released Executive Orders on Sunday enacting additional duties on all imports from Mexico, Canada, and China under IEEPA (the International Emergency Economic Powers Act).

Our Canadian office has notified us that the Canadian Labour Minister, Steven MacKinnon, announced this morning that the Government will intervene to end the work stoppages at ports in British Columbia and Quebec. MacKinnon will be appointing the Canadian Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) to order resumption of all operations and move the talks to binding arbitration.
