China Tariffs Scheduled to Increase September 1
The China trade war continues to be a factor affecting both the stock market and soon the price of consumer goods. All items on list 4A will have another uptick in the tariff rate as of September 1, with an increase to 15% additional tariffs on these items. The list contains a wide range of alcoholic beverages and glassware, but does not currently affect beer or Baijiu or glass bottles.
Should you have any questions on any specific items affected by the latest increase, please feel free to contact us for more information.
We are also closely monitoring the WTO case and BREXIT issues and will send out updates as soon as specific information is available.
