Container Dwell Fee Postponed - Jan 17th

Once again officials at the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles announced yesterday that implementation of the Container Dwell Fee will be pushed off for another week until January 17th. 
 
Again this postponement is due to the fact that the two ports have seen a combined decline of 45% in aging cargo on the docks since the program was announced on Oct. 25. 
 
Over the next week, officials at the ports will continue monitoring the data, and will make another assessment as to the fee's implementation date at that time.
