EU Tariff Update

The USTR has advised that there will be no change in the status of the current list of items hit with the 25% tariff.  While our industry fought to remove all of the retaliatory tariffs on alcoholic beverages from EU Countries and did not win this fight, the outcome could have been much worse as more items could have been slated and tariffs were threatened up to 100%.

This, for now, the situation is status quo from the October 2019 decision, and in theory, we will enter a 6 month phase before any further changes are considered.
