Heatwave Continues - Protect Your Cargo!

The heatwave spreading across Europe is shattering records and even expanding northward into Scandinavia and the Arctic regions. On Tuesday, France saw multiple records set for heat, and the UK and Germany are expected to hit record-setting temperatures this week as well. The high pressure area responsible for this heat is predicted to glide north impacting temperatures in Finland, Norway, and Sweden.

With all this heat, shippers must take extra precautions to ensure that their cargo does not sustain any temperature damage. Shipping in refrigerated containers or using thermal blankets is highly recommended. Also be sure to obtain cargo insurance for heat damage.
