ILWU "Stand Down" for Safety

Please be advised that on July 7th 2016, the ILWU at the Port of Los Angeles has organized a “stand down” between 11AM and 1PM PST in recognition of safety, and those that have lost their lives in the industry. At this time all labor coastwise will cease to work in observance of this and, port-wide, gate operations will be briefly paused during this stop work period.

The gates will resume normal operations again at 1PM PST.
