Pass Cristo Redentor Closed
Posted 02/02/2016
Heavy rains have caused the collapse of a bridge near tunnel 4 of the International Route 7 between Argentina and Chile.
Due to this event, Paso International has requested the interruption of transit, according to an official statement issued February 1, 2016.
The traffic on Route 7 between Uspallata and the city of Mendoza has been stopped, leaving a large number of vehicles between the Uspallata area and Las Cuevas (International Tunnel Cristo Redentor).
An official statement of the passage opening and alternative routes for all modes of traffic will be issued in the near future. Please stay tuned for further developments.
