Cross-Andes Pass Closed

Please note that the pass between Mendoza, Argentina, and Chile has been closed since last Thursday.

The pass was re-opened for several hours over the weekend, which created a more disastrous situation, as many vehicles became trapped in the high mountains on each side of the pass and had to be rescued.

The snowfall is expected to continue throughout this week, so please plan for additional delays for cargo traveling out of this region.
