Truckers Strike in Chile

The Truckers' Guild in Chile has announced a strike effective today that could cause shipping delays and impact cargo operations at ports and depots as truckers have blocked access to these facilities. 

Since yesterday, the Guild has held talks with the Chilean Government to review the situation of insecurity surrounding the country’s road conditions, but no agreement has been reached yet, hence the strike action.
