Please note that a 24-hour strike was scheduled by port workers in Chile for this Thursday, June 18th.

This strike will affect the Port of San Antonio, but, fortunately, not Valparaiso. The strike is due to the workers’ rejection of the new labor reform law.

The pass between Mendoza, Argentina, and Santiago, Chile, was closed today due inclement weather conditions in the mountains. Fortunately, the weather should improve tomorrow.
